Supervise all Officers and Chairs.  Appoint all Chairs.  Be contact point for outside organizations.  Run, business meetings per RRoO.  Serve Ex-Officio on the Executive Committee to: Act as disciplinary board, approve budgets (>$50,000), interpret the constitution and by-laws, make decisions on behalf of the club when members cannot be convened, and act as a scholarship board.

Emergency Medical Technician, Cave Spring Rescue Squad (Roanoke, Va)  Spring 2007 - Present
Certified as EMT-B. Provide independent medical care to residents of Roanoke County per regional protocols. Precept, evaluate and certify EMTs to practice independently. As Junior Chief (Fall 2007 - Fall 2009): Supervised and managed all members under the age of 21. Managed finances and budget decisions. Planned retention, recruitment and fundraising. Enforced policy. As Secretary: Sat on Board of Directors with budget for organization in excess of $150,000.

Resident Advisor (RA), Residence Life, Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, Va)        Fall 2010 – Summer 2012
Develop a residential community that supports learning and personal growth. Foster healthy relationships between residents. Enforce policy. Complete detailed incident reports, judicial referrals and other administrative work. Manage crises. Interview candidates for Residential Learning Coordinator.             Red Cross Blood Bank Intern, St. Elisabeth Hospital (Willemstad, Curacao)               Summer 2011
Conduct various laboratory tests to clear donated blood of any potential diseases per international protocols.  Designate all donated blood to specific blood groups.  Conduct tests on patient blood for local specialists, hospitals and other labs to assist with diagnosing and/or treatment.  Perform my own research on Sickle Cell Anemia.  Write a research report and present it to be reviewed and approved by the Red Cross Blood Bank Director for inclusion into future research efforts for Sickle Cell Anemia.

            Junior to the Executive Committee, G.E.R.M.A.N. Club, Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, Va) 2011-2012
Serve on the Executive Committee along with three other officers.  Act as a hearing and disciplinary board when necessary.  Approve all budgets and discretionary spending by the Club.  Interpret the constitution and by-laws.  Make decisions on behalf of the club when all members cannot be reasonably convened.  Act as an awards board with the power to award the Newman Scholarship and Walker award and the German Club award of excellence.
